Second, I recommend that you remove that existing hair color so that you will have a clean slate. You can remove color with a product called Vanish (as long as you do not have bleached hair. This is important if you really want healthier hair and a Professional hair color like Wella to look its best. If Vanish is too expensive, you may start with the shampoo train (just search those words here on the blog. I could give you a formula, but without seeing your color and knowing that you have Ion currently on your head... I wouldn't want to do that. The general rule is that you use 20 vol for covering gray... you would only use 10 vol for depositing... toning. Not a great sign, I suspect (because I interviewed with them for "possibly" working with them before I figured out 'who' they were) they have the worlds lousiest products, especially hair care. It is run by two young hipsters who sold their first company and made a few million before their sister told them that the beauty/hair color industry was where all the money was.

They are computer coders who started a hair color company.

When I was going to meet with them and they said they were going to use some color they made at a little local LAB that was my first red flag.....why? Because little brands of hair color are never very good I'm talking demi + permanent color PLUS developer.

It takes lots of experience or already knowing the big companies formulas to really produce an excellent hair color line in that arena.
Stop using them never go back and run for the hills. The salon i went to recently used Wella 6/7 with 77/0 and it came out way too coppery! So i went back after a few weeks, and she did my roots with a Wella 66/0 mixed with 77/0 and it covered the grey great, but still gives off a lot of red reflect which i do not want at all! It brings out the red in my face, as i have a very fair pink skintone.

Id much rather have subtle tones of gold than red/copper. Do you have any tips on which hair line would work best? Im sick of walking out of the salon dissapointed and broke!

I love the look of Wella 6/1, and it is very similar to my natural hair colour, but since it's an ash and won't turn out like the swatch, it will probably go dark and flat. Do you know how i could achieve that tone without looking flat? Could i mix a 7/1 with something with gold in it?

fireflyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07896072891517571093noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-171922059209324439.post-41604484067657169592017-08-28T16:56:35.546-07:002017-08-28T16:56:35.546-07:00Using 77/0 or 88/0 alone will not last long, it wi...Using 77/0 or 88/0 alone will not last long, it will wash out 10x faster. It is nothing to be "proud of" and is on the low end of the money people pay to get a decent college degree. A business degree from a state school is over 50k. You had no formal training in writing OR running a professional business , yet you yell at people for being "dumb." No one asked you to write these blogs, but if you're gonna be putting your advice out there for "crib colorists" at the very least you could be CLEAR and CONCISE in your instructions. That way, people wouldn't have to reach out to you and "bug" you with their questions.
You cannot just ride on the coat tails of "experience." Experience is one thing. Learning how to communicate with your audience is another.
Your blog is a mess; it is hard to read, you constantly tell people just to type keywords into a search bar. The reason people do not trust you and challenge your expertise is not that they are "stupid" as you are implying, it is because they see your blog and then realize they'll have to shovel through 10 years of posts to make any sense of it. How can you say you're passionate about teaching crib colorists and then tell them off when they ask you questions? You are not doing this for anyone but yourself, clearly. I really wanted to learn something from your blog, but the constant misspellings, messy presentation and lack of clarification and rude atmosphere make it not only difficult but incredibly...exhausting.
