FYI.... I thought it was just my guy who noticed when my hair wasn't great!
Glad to know my priorities are in order!
If you've changed your fickle mind & want another color faster than it fades or if you've had a disaster (they happen) I have a few tips.
Wash your hair as much as possible. Each wash will begin color fading process, the more you do it, the more it will fade. I call this process the SHAMPOO TRAIN: Google it on Blog for more info.
Ditch your regular shampoo. Use Shampoo that has "sulfates" in it........anti-dandruff, clarifying or cheap market shampoo w/Sulfates for maximum fadeage. Plus leave it on hair for min. 30 minutes a pop - longer the better
Hot water opens the hair follicles and is guaranteed to speed up the fading process.
VANISH or DE-CAP. Or finally use Vanish or DeCap to remove unwanted color in the fastest/best manner (altho is pricey) this is the number 1 way to remove hair color with ZERO damage to hair ! BE SURE TO CHECK WITH 10Volume - IF ALL COLOR has been REMOVED (don't skip this step !
Remember when re-coloring right after either of these removers - to use 1 Level lighter if re-coloring immediately.
